The first owner that does not own an SFL team is proud to announce the return of arena football to the city of Grand Rapids as the Grand Rapids Mastodons will play their inaugural season in The Arena League (TAL) for the league’s second season.
The team is named to honor of the state fossil of Michigan. The Mastodons colors will be Black, Orange, and Red.
Grand Rapids is familiar to the Arena game after hosting the Grand Rapids Rampage in the AFL from 1998-2009. The Mastodons will play in the same arena, Van Andel Arena, which will seat over 10,000 Mastodons’ fans.
The Arena League is the premiere arena/indoor league around the world with its second season to kick off in early 2021.
