The Boston Dragons put a leash on the Bulldogs in an overtime win.

With the game ending in 19-13, there was not much going on in the first half. The two teams literally exchanged field goals, making the score 3-3 at halftime. The lone score coming from Jason Sanders on a 37 yard boot.

After another Field goal by Sanders, the 2nd half started to heat up for the Bulldogs, scoring 10 straight points in the fourth quarter, the 10th point being notched up with 1:41 left in the game to make the score 13-6. Enter miracle, an insane 91 yard play with 21 seconds left in the game. Cooper Rush hit Jordan Matthews in a 4 wide receiver set on a left out and Matthews took the ball all the way to the house to send the game into overtime.

Luckily the Dragons started with the ball, because they only needed 6 plays to seal the deal. Taysom Hill took an end around 35 yards for the score to send the Dragons their 6th victory of the season.

The Dragons have started to turn around their season with 3 wins in a row.

Rush unfortunately threw 2 interceptions, fumbled 2 times, and got sacked 3 times, but got the job done with a Touchdown and 223 yards through the air. Andre Ellington had yet another 100 yard game with 128, helping lead the team to 181 yards on the ground thanks to Evan Johnson and Mark Korte bullying the inside. Luke Tasker led the team with 6 receptions and Matthews with 98 yards.

The defense held strong against a very good Bulldogs offense. Nickell Robey led the team in tackles with 9 while Kyle Emanuel racked up a sack and a forced fumble in the contest.

On Special Teams,  Jason Sanders went perfect from the Field Goal range while Mike Scifres recorded another 50+ yard punting average.

The Boston Dragons travel to face the New York Marauders in Week 10.
